Two of this year’s candidates for Cosmopolitan magazine’s Bachelor of the Year were shut out of the party on Tuesday night at the Mansion in New York after editiors learned from the blogosphere that they had posed nude prior to the contest. Bachelors Derek Hawkes of Maine who posed for Sean Cody and Randy Blue (a QPN story of Derek Hawkes here) and Daniel Kirk of West Virginia who was Playgirl centrefold for May 2008 have been ‘disinvited’ according to New York Post page Six to the party. I wonder if they were shunned because they posed nude or because it was for a gay audience.
