I was taken aback when I first saw the behind-the-scenes for Raging Stallion’s epic, To The Last Man. As the title implies, it’s a western themed film where every body is killed ’til the last survivor. As hot as the guys were in the film, there was too much gore to make it a arousing and I never put it in my mind as a “must watch.”

But I’m not the only concerned porn fan. Obviously Raging Stallion has received numerous complaints of the violence and even of a rape scene in To The Last Man that director Chris Ward has blogged in its defense. Chris Ward plus co-director Ben Leon, writer Tony Dimarco affirm that the film was a real portrayal of the violent nature of the Wild Wild West at the time and they had to include such controversial scenes in order to maintain the intregrity of the film.

To be honest, the film is a porno after all and should be catered accordingly. I don’t contend that the Old West was rife with violence but a porno is not the place to reflect that, interested viewers will find other avenues for life in the Old West. Porno is afterall a fantasy.
