There are numerous gay-for-pay stars in gay porn land and I list several whom I idolise. As gay as I am, I have no problem with straight guys who can bend themselves a bit for a buck. What’s to lose, they make a pretty penny and I get to fantasise and unload. I don’t mind dolling over my gay dollars to Reese Rideout and Bobby Clark even knowing they’ll share the profits with their girlfriends, so long as they continue to tease me.
But my buck stops at the likes of Wolf Hudson and Barrett Long who SO publicly announce their distaste for men, blatantly stating they they’re using gay men for the money. Wolf Hudson (CockyBoys exclusive and BoundGods regular), who had once announced retirement from gay porn only to return within weeks, told Jason Sechrest he was forced to return because he was rejected by the straight porn agents when they discovered his gay porn past. Barrett Long made it clear that he had to fantasise about girls in his man-on-man scenes. I’ve never been a fan of these two but think any pornstar who announces his disinterest in his clientele is a total bonekill and stupid for business.
I know most gay pornstars really perform for the money, it’s not like one grows up aspiring to be a pornstar. But what they’re doing is putting it in my face that gays are second rate and also killing the fantasy, which is what porn is.
