Simon Rex is a prime example why anyone pondering porn should think twice. I personally don’t attach any stigma to porn performers but it doesn’t mean others don’t. The 35 year old San Francisco native was a MTV veejay briefly in 2004 until his porn past came back to haunt him, costing him his career in the mainstream entertainment world. He appeared in a series of flops in Felicity and Scary Movie 3. Rex reinvented himself as a potty-mouthed rapper called Dirt Nasty in 2008 with little success.
In his newest venture, Rex stars in an upcoming show titled “Rex” which focuses on his quest to regain the limelight. The show is created and co-produced by Guy Shalem (Lifetime’s “Lovespring International”) co-stars Paris Hilton (who plays his fake girlfriend), Jamie Presley, Victor Garber (Simon’s dad), Geoffrey Arend, Jill Talley (Simon’s mom), Jill Bartlett, Brian Huskey and Lance Bass.
