The ‘it’ guy du jour Jason Crystal (a.k.a. Kay, KB, Kevin Wood, Jason Kayz) has been appearing on every website the past few months and Unzipped last counted he had appeared on nine different sites since his porn debut 3 months ago. But that number just bumped up to eleven as Jet Set director Chris Steele announce his studio has become the 11th site saying he filmed Jason Crystal in both a solo video and a duo scene with Jet Set Exclusive Marcus Steele for their Jet Set Straight Edge website. The solo goes live August 21 and the Marcus Steele fuck session goes up August 28.
In an email exchange with the director, Jason Crystal was trying to get more work at Jet Set but Chris Steele responded that he thought Jason Crystal is overexposed. Crystal unapologetically replied, “I made 50 thousand in 3 months do u blame me??”
Chris Steele wasn’t impressed. The concern for studios is that Jason Crystal will appear on another website as soon as they shoot a scene with him thereby losing their freshness.
Doing some math, I presume that the $50 000 figure is just for his video work, eleven scenes, which yields a very plausible figure of $4500 per scene. Jason Crystal also escorted on the side although he has since taken down his Rentboy ad.
